Type 1 and Type 2 Diabetes are very different from each other and both require unique treatments. Knowing what the differences are will help you determine treatment.
Understanding Type 1 Diabetes:
- It's a disease considered to be autoimmune and producing insulin with the beta cells of your pancreas.
- possibly a virus can trigger your immune system
- the virus attacks cells
- the cells are destroyed after the attack
- the pancrease can not function and work the insulin the way it should
- your sugar can not be transported into the right cells that need energy
- This causes the sugar to build, causing damage to your blood vessels plus internal organs.
When this happens, treatment is required to help get things back in balance so you will have your energy levels and internal organs working the right way so you must pay attention to your body when it's not acting right.
