What are the risks that the mother might actually experience? - The doctor might feel that she should have a cesarean - high blood pressure during pregnancy and possible swelling with your feet and hands - urinary tract infection - higher chance of diabetes later in life - premature delivery - ketones might build up - at risk for eye disease - at risk for kidney disease Depending on what type of Diabetes you have, your diabetes and labor might vary.
