There is still a lot of research being done about Diabetes II and researchers are unsure about why people might get Diabetes II. However, they do know that there are some risk factors that could increase your chance of getting it. Risk Factors: - Being overweight is a risk factor because what happens is your cells will resist insulin more. - When you are not very active you could develop diabetes 2. - Sometimes if it runs in your family history that leaves you a high chance of getting it. - Age might have something to do with it after you are 45 years old. - Prediabetes
When you have Diabetes it's important that you get enough exercise and what you eat very close. Don't try and award yourself with a box of chocolates if you have done the right thing, instead award yourself with going to the movies. |
