While getting sleep may not be the cause of Diabetes it could be a risk factor for it just like having a unhealthy diet. There are plenty of things that can cause you to not get enough sleep that you should avoid. Things that might cause you to not get enough sleep: - Eating food after 8 PM It has been documented that if you have anything after 8 pm it might make you stay awake at night and could even cause nightmares depending on what kind of food you had. You should work on trying to relax and clear your mind at night by reading and meditation. |
