- Diabetic pills are insulin in an oral form: this is not true and is a myth, the pills that are prescribed for diabetes assist the body in the ability to use insulin better.
- Children with diabetes have a restricted lifestyle: that is not true, children with insulin diabetes need exercise and a balanced diet, as this can lower the blood sugar level.
- Women with diabetes are unable to have children: this is a myth, women with diabetes with the help of medical technology are able to have a normal pregnancy and continue to have normal range blood sugar levels.
