Your body has glucose in it naturally from sugar that digests wtih food. If your body blocks glucose from flowing into the bloodstream and into the cells that it should it can cause it to form and make to many anti-insulin hormones while you are pregnant causing you to become diabetic because of being insulin resistance.

Do not neglect visiting the doctor when you feel changes in your body and think that it is just because you are pregnant. A lot of women make this mistake and as a result, they get sicker from not calling the doctor when they should have.
